這陣子看到蘋果Steve Jobs健康方面的消息，實在有點感傷，這是他第三次因健康因素告假暫離蘋果，前兩次分別在2004與2009年。我算是羽量級的蘋果玩家，09年加入這個大家族後才慢慢發現蘋果迷人的魅力，也了解為何大家如此推崇Steve Jobs，似乎就是有種魔力，每當推出新產品，總是讓人為之拍手叫好，而我也甘願花錢買mac、加入開發者俱樂部寫iPhone app。在此也要給Steve Jobs拍拍手，感謝他替我們開創這麼大的舞台。

這次他的離開，給了員工下面這封信，不難看出他本身也相當熱愛蘋果，期望能儘快回到公司崗位上，繼續創造更多的one more thing：

Team,

At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health. I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company.

I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for all of Apple’s day to day operations. I have great confidence that Tim and the rest of the executive management team will do a terrific job executing the exciting plans we have in place for 2011.

I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our privacy.

當然，除了廣大的消費者外，還有一堆人也靠他吃飯，台灣的數個科技業者重要訂單也都來自蘋果，包含組裝、鏡頭、觸控等，可說蘋果打個噴嚔台灣都會重感冒，Steve Jobs第三次的請假提早凸顯蘋果或晚或早都要面對的棘手問題，也就是Steve Jobs退休後的蘋果該如何繼續往前、繼續創造驚喜、繼續拿出更多的one more thing，iPhone也決不會只有五代、iMac遲早加入Full HD、macbook air肯定更薄，但除此之外呢？…

期待Steve Jobs的歸隊，好讓我這羽量級的玩家能有機會多玩個幾年。網路上看到這篇影片，年輕的Steve Jobs，當年23歲接受電視採訪前的片段，有種意氣風發的感覺呢！
